Key Purpose Of The Role:
The Executive Sales – New Markets will drive market research, onboard suppliers, consumers, and logistics partners, and initiate transactions, ensuring smooth integration and sustainable growth for the platform in new regions.
Key Tasks:
Key Responsibilities Business Development & Stakeholder Onboarding
  • Source, engage, and onboard reliable suppliers based on business requirements.
  • Identify and build relationships with industrial consumers and onboard them to the platform.
  • Establish partnerships with transporters and logistics providers to ensure seamless goods movement.
Sales & Market Research
  • Implement the sales Go-To-Market strategy for the region.
  • Conduct market research to explore new business opportunities, assess demand, competition, and trends.
  • Optimize sales processes using CRM tools to maximize productivity.
Stakeholder Support & Relationship Management
  • Facilitate smooth onboarding and integration of suppliers, consumers, and logistics partners.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Provide ongoing support and resolve any issues that arise.
Platform Operations & Value-Added Services
  • Increase the uptake of value-added services among marketplace participants.
  • Drive transactions on the platform by ensuring stakeholders are active and operational.
  • Work closely with internal teams (marketing, inside sales, customer success, and operations) to ensure seamless execution.
Ideal Candidate Profile General Background
  • Experience in industrial sales and new business development.
  • Previous employment in large Indian or multinational companies in sectors such as boiler manufacturing, biofuels, or biomass.
Technical Competency
  • Knowledge of the energy industry, enterprise software, or B2B sales.
  • Expertise in key account management, solutions sales, IT sales, or enterprise sales.
People Management/Leadership
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Assertive and friendly interpersonal traits.
  • Performance-focused with patience and perseverance.
Opportunity:

This role offers an opportunity to execute the Go-To-Market strategy for a leading bioenergy platform, contribute to its expansion, and drive market growth by onboarding key partners and executing successful business operations.

Supervision & Collaboration:

This position reports to the Head – New Markets and collaborates with Sales Managers and the Head of Inside Sales.
