Key Purpose Of The Role:
Key Tasks:
- Manage primary qualitative and secondary quantitative research requirements for biomass availability and biofuel industry demand.
- Maintain updated datasets for all current and upcoming business locations across Indian states at district/taluka level.
- Conduct rural research on crop production data, harvesting practices, residue availability, and alternate biomass applications.
- Conduct industrial research to identify biomass/coal usage clusters, existing value chains, and platform adoption drivers and deterrents.
- Identification of new markets / demand & supply clusters
- Gap analysis with respect to current business
- On-field validation of research studies as per crop’s season and region
- Exploratory studies for new product development and product-market fitment
- Customer Insighting through Dip sticks, focus groups and customer surveys
- Monitor the competitive landscape and stay updated on market trends and competitor Go-To-Market strategies.
- Prepare research briefs in consultation with business leaders and product teams.
- Define business objectives and design research methodologies that address specific needs.
- Recommend appropriate research approaches (in-house or through agency partners) based on expertise and cost efficiencies.
- Manage relationships with external research agencies.
- Build and manage an in-house team for continuous market research needs.
- Experience in Energy, Cleantech, E-Commerce, or B2B Industrial sectors is an advantage.
- Experience working in the Indian market.
- Strong conceptualization and analytical skills to articulate complex ideas.
- Ability to connect insights across different functions to create a harmonious and vibrant work culture.
- Taking responsibility for undefined areas as the organization scales.
- Process management and governance skills to ensure efficiency and adherence to project timelines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to engage effectively with a wide spectrum of stakeholders, from small rural businesses to large multinational corporations.
