• Product Vision & Strategy
  • Own and articulate the product roadmap for BiofuelCircle’s B2B ecommerce marketplace, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Translate business goals into a prioritised list of tangible product initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform product strategy.
• User & Market Research
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to understand the diverse needs, pain points, and motivations of users: including biofuel manufacturers, industrial
  • biowaste suppliers, procurement managers, and logistics partners.
  • Engage with customers regularly to gather feedback and assess platform usage, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with marketing, sales, customer support, bioenergy centre of excellence and engineering teams to define and prioritise product features and enhancements.
  • Foster a collaborative culture across all teams to achieve unified go-to-market strategy and product delivery.
  • Communicate product vision, roadmap, and progress to stakeholders, including senior management and cross-functional teams.
• Product Development & Delivery
  • Work within a fast-paced, agile environment to manage the backlog and prioritise features based on business value and user needs.
  • Guide engineering, design, and data teams in the development, launch, review, and continuous improvement of product features from conception to rollout.
  • Create comprehensive product documentation to facilitate understanding and ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.
• Performance Measurement & Improvement
  • Define, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and its contribution to business growth.
  • Monitor platform metrics such as user engagement, transaction volumes, and operational efficiency, to drive data-informed decisions.

General Background: No Information Ideal Candidate Profile · You have 8 to 12 years of work experience in a product management role, with at least 2 to 3 years in a B2B or B2B2C ecommerce/ marketplace · Experience in a related industrial sector, such as logistics, bioenergy, or agricultural commodities, will be an added advantage · You have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or Marketing). An MBA or equivalent post-graduation will be an added advantage · You can translate complex, real-world challenges into elegant, user-friendly and scalable digital solutions · You demonstrate a data-driven approach to decision making · You have a solid grasp of software product development lifecycle, API integrations, and data infrastructure. An understanding of technical architecture and databases will be an added advantage · You are a good listener, demonstrating the ability to deeply understand and advocate for the diverse needs of BiofuelCircle’s user personas · You are at ease translating functionality/ features into user benefits or value propositions · You can write effective emails and create explainer documents that are understood by those who read them · You can work with cross-functional and remote teams · You can coordinate, follow up, follow through, and drive issues to closure proactively · You take ownership and accountability and don't need a manager reminding of tasks or deadlines · Knowledge of business processes in B2B or B2B2C, Supply Chain Management/ Operations, will give you an advantage over other applicants · Having worked in SaaS product implementation roles will also give you an advantage over other applicants
